Baruch Atah Adonai, Eloheinu melech ha-olam,asher kidshanu b’mitzvotav, v’tzivanu la’asok b’tzorkay tzibur.
Blessed are you, Adonai our God, Source of All, who has made us holy with mitzvot and instructed us to engage deeply with community.
Nosh (נאַש — yiddish for snack or delicacy) is an experimental small group of Temple de Hirsch Sinai Seattle members who build community through food, drink and Jewish literature/ideas. We meet monthly (virtually for now) to enjoy a small portion of Jewish (or Jew-ish) literature and ideas, and a potentially less-small amount of food and drink. We do all of this in a sprit of exploration, mutual care/support, and fun.
For information about this and other TDHS programs, or if you’re a member who would like to inquire about this or another small group, please email someone@somewhere.com.
